SEAT finalises reorganisational changes in its Sales division

SEAT is announcing significant changes to its sales division. Thibault Champenois, 43, (Nantes, France) has been appointed sales network development director. In this newly created position, Champenois will report directly to the Vice-president for Sales, who for the time being is SEAT chairman James Muir.
Thibault Champenois holds a Business degree from ESSCA Business School in Angers and an MBA from ESCP Europe. He joins SEAT after working at Toyota Europe, where he was responsible for developing the European dealership network since 2006. Prior to this he developed his career in the PSA group, where he held several management positions in the sales division.
New SEAT France director Marc de Laitre, 43, hails from Neuilly sur Seine, France. De Laitre holds a Business degree from the INSEEC Business School in Bordeaux, and has developed his entire career at the Ford group. Since joining Ford in 1989 he worked in several areas of the sales division, including fleet sales and marketing. His final appointment came in 2004, when he was made national sales manager at Ford France.
New SEAT Italy director Louis-Carl Vignon, 43, was born in Antony, France. He holds a Business degree from the Fontainebleau Business School and joins SEAT after working at General Motors Italy. His latest appointment was as sales and marketing director in 2008. He began working for the General Motors group in 2000 where, among other responsibilities, he was operations director for General Motors southern Europe and dealership development director for Saab France. From 1991 to 2000 he worked in the sales division of Ford France.
Both Marc de Laitre and Louis-Carl Vignon will report to SEAT's new Group Director Sales Paul Sevin.
All of these new appointments will become effective on 1 May.
